Orlando Bloom has revealed the story behind his newborn son's name.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, who became a dad for the first time when his wife Miranda Kerr gave birth to son Flynn earlier this year, said that it was inspired by his late grandmother, who passed away when the baby was conceived.
Bloom announced on Live with Regis and Kelly: "I was convinced we were going to have a girl. Because my grandmother actually passed when Flynn was conceived and she was really dear to my heart.
"Evelyn was my grandmother, on my father's side... I was thinking Evelyn. We're going to have a girl, it's going to be called Evelyn. And it was a boy. And so Flynn! Evelyn, Flynn. Flynn, Evelyn."
Bloom recently revealed that he loves bathing with his son, saying: "It's great
Kerr has also been promoting breastfeeding since giving birth, describing it as "precious" and "the most natural thing in the world".
