Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony confirm Latin music show

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have joined forces with Simon Fuller for a new music show, it has been confirmed.
The superstar couple have teamed with Fuller's XIX Entertainment to launch Q'Viva! The Chosen, which aims to create the "ultimate live show celebrating Latin music, artistry and dance".
"This is a show for the 21st century with an unprecedented global and local story," said Lopez in a statement.
"The Latin culture is a tapestry that is rich in passion, tradition and artistry. We are going to places where all of this talent lives and wouldn't have otherwise been discovered. This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and ground-breaking."
The format of the show will see current American Idol judge Lopez and Anthony travelling to different parts of the Americas to "assemble a cast of incredible performers" for the live show over the course of three months.
The live show will be helmed by concert director Jamie King, who is currently directing Britney Spears's 'Femme Fatale Tour' and Rihanna's 'Loud Tour', as well as writing and directing Cirque du Soleil's upcoming 'Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour'.
Anthony said that he has "witnessed and encountered an amazing amount of undiscovered talent" during his travels around the world, adding that he hopes Q'Viva will "provide an outlet to a whole new generation that have been waiting to have their voices heard".
The show will be filmed in three languages and broadcast simultaneously across 21 countries in North America, Central America and South America.
"Latin music and dance is loved all over the world but there has never been a particular show or live experience that truly celebrates its beauty and splendour," added Fuller. "Q'Viva is that show."
An air date or network has yet to be confirmed.
