Rob Lowe talks sex tape scandal

Rob Lowe has opened up about the infamous ’80s sex-tape scandal that nearly ruined his career.

Speaking on Oprah Winfrey’s TV chat show in an interview that will air Thursday, the actor who is releasing his memoir, Stories I Only Tell My Friends also discussed being part of the notorious Brat Pack, overcoming addiction, and pleading with pal Charlie Sheen to seek help.

“I’m like, ‘Dude, we have a chair for you. We’re ready for you over here in the anonymous group that we all go to and saved my life.’ He doesn’t want anything to do with it,” Lowe said.
