Orlando Bloom like being a rocker!

Orlando Bloom can’t understand why people would choose movies over music.

The actor who has just played a rock star in new movie Sympathy for Delicious says he has no idea why the likes of Justin Timberlake and Beyonce want to pursue acting when they have the freedom to make music.

“It’s so weird. I don’t get it,” says Orlando. “Wanting to be a rock star, I get it. I’m like, ‘Oh, my god, dude! The freedom!’ There’s a very different creative thing. The acting thing is a bit more defined and cerebral.”

Bloom who welcomed his first child, son Flynn, with wife Miranda Kerr earlier this year recently admitted that fatherhood is leaving him dazed and confused.

“He’s amazing,” Bloom said of his little boy. “Right now I’m like, ‘Am I awake or am I asleep?’ but it is amazing.

“Having a child takes the pressure off and gives you a bit of focus. Everything else just fades away.”
