Barack Obama’s earnings have taken a dive!

The President and his wife Michelle made significantly less money last year than in 2009, with book sales their main source of income, according to their joint tax return released by the White House.

The first family reported an adjusted gross income of $1.7 million and paid federal taxes of $436,000.

This was a decrease of almost $3 million from an income of $5.5 million in 2009.

Overall, the first family gave $245,075 to charity in 2010, reaching out to 36 different charities of which Fisher House was the largest single beneficiary.

Meanwhile, Barack and Michelle are said to be furious that they haven’t been invited to Prince William’s April 29 wedding to fiancee Kate Middleton.

Sources say the couple believe the snub to be a deliberate insult to America!

“Michelle intends to settle the score,” an insider told America’s Globe magazine.

Recent reports claimed Michelle has been telling her nearest and dearest that she hopes nemesis Oprah Winfrey bombs when she launches her OWN network next year.

“Michelle hates Oprah,” alleged one insider. “She’s hoping she’ll come crashing down to earth with her latest venture.”
