Beyoncé has reportedly recorded a duet with Rihanna for her new album.
The 'Single Ladies' diva is currently preparing her fourth solo album, which is due for release in June, and is said to have included a collaboration with Roc Nation star Rihanna.
"Rihanna has wanted to work with Beyoncé for some time now and, after talking about a duet at this year's Grammys, they have finally managed to set aside some time to record together," an insider has revealed, reports M is for Music.
"The song will feature on Beyoncé's album
Beyoncé recently shot her new music video in Mojave desert for her upcoming single 'Girls (Who Run The World)', which leaked online yesterday.
The video for the single is claimed to be one of Beyoncé's biggest to date.
Meanwhile Cheryl Cole is planning to add a number of high-profile collaborations to the US release of her album.
The 'Promise This' star is expected to launch her music career in the US later this year and is working closely with friend will.i.am to secure collaborations with Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry for the LP.
"Cheryl's management want her to become the next big popstar in America and are working on securing some A-list names for the album," an insider told M is for Music
"A Rihanna duet is a certainty and Will.I.Am is trying to convince Minaj to work on the LP too. Katy Perry has also been in talks with Cheryl about a duet, as she is a big fan."
It is reported that Cole is desperate to bag studio time with Beyoncé and Britney Spears, too, but has accepted that the collaborations would "take a long time to achieve."
The US version of the album will contain a selection of the best tracks from her first two UK albums 3 Words and Messy Little Raindrops, and is due to include her duets with will.i.am and Travie McCoy.
The developments follow news of Girls Aloud's plans to reunite without Cole, as she is planning to spend most of the next year Stateside, while her bandmates are itching to start recording again.
