Nicolas Cage went crazy before arrest!

Nicolas Cage was “running around and screaming” when he was arrested Saturday morning.

The actor was arrested for allegedly pushing his wife during a drunken row Police in New Orleans say witnesses saw the 47-year-old actor arguing with Alice Kim in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The couple were outside a house in the French Quarter which Nicolas said they were renting but when Alice told him the property was not the one they were staying in the actor reportedly grabbed her arm and started hitting cars before shouting at a police officer.

He was taken into custody after he refused to get out of a taxi when asked to by the officer, who concerned onlookers had alerted, and was charged with domestic abuse, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness.

New details of the incident have down been revealed.

“He was running around and screaming in the street,” a barman at Harry’s Corner in New Orleans, told People magazine.

“Apparently he had mistaken the house of my neighbors for the other house up the block that he is actually renting,” said another source.

“His wife was trying to persuade him from disturbing the elderly couple who do in fact live in that house.”

After being bailed out by Dog the Bounty Hunter, Cage is due in court to face the charges on May 31.
