Ryan Phillippe NOT quitting acting

Ryan Phillippe isn’t about to retire from Hollywood.

The New York Post recently claimed the Hollywood hunk would be quitting acting because he’s frustrated with the tabloid spotlight on his personal life.

“I think I’m going to end my acting career,” the paper quoted him as saying.

“I’m a good guy. I’m not that guy you read about. I’m so introverted. I’m ready to be behind the scenes. I’m 36, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years.”

However, Ryan’s rep insists the star is not preparing to quit acting.

“He’s not retiring from acting anytime soon,” said the rep.
